Tesla AI Day 2022, Protein structure generation via folding diffusion and CLIP-guided 3D generation!
Welcome to your official daily AI research tl;dr (often with code and news) for AI professionals where I share the most exciting papers I find daily, along with a one-liner summary to help you quickly determine if the article (and code) is worth investigating.
1️⃣ UNDERSTANDING PURE CLIP GUIDANCE FOR VOXEL GRID NERF MODELS
Text-guided 3D object generation using CLIP!

2️⃣ Protein structure generation via folding diffusion
A new diffusion-based generative model that designs protein backbone structures via a procedure that mirrors the native folding process (“We describe protein backbone structure as a series of consecutive angles capturing the relative orientation of the constituent amino acid residues, and generate new structures by denoising from a random, unfolded state towards a stable folded structure.”).
