Neural renderings without NeRF, 3D Clothed Human Reconstruction in the Wild and more!
Welcome to your official daily AI research tl;dr (often with code and news) for AI enthusiasts where I share the most exciting papers I find daily, along with a one-liner summary to help you quickly determine if the article (and code) is worth investigating. I will also take this opportunity to share daily exciting news in the field.
Let’s get started with this iteration!
1️⃣ 3D Clothed Human Reconstruction in the Wild
A 3D clothed human reconstruction framework that firstly addresses the robustness on in-thewild images using a trainable pipeline with 2D supervision targets of in-the-wild datasets.
They implement 2D supervision because 3D training datasets are usually synthetic ones, which contain rendered images from GT 3D scans, i.e. less natural image appearances compared to those of real in-the-wild datasets.
